Vaccination
Please note that all Rabbits who come stay with us need to have been fully vaccinated with the Nobivac Myxo-RHD Plus.
If a new vaccination is due before your rabbits stay with us, please allow at least 8 days between the date of vaccination and the beginning of your rabbit's holiday to allow immunity to build up and recovery from any side effects. If your Rabbit is having there yearly booster then there is no need to wait before coming in as long as it is a continued vaccination with no breaks.
Vaccinations apply to rabbits only, guinea pigs do not need to be vaccinated.
Payments
We require a deposit of 30% of the total price to secure your booking. This is a Non Refundable deposit.
The balance of your pets holiday is due before drop off. You will receive a link 1 - 2 weeks before.
Reducing Days
A boarding contract is active once a deposit is paid and your booking is in the diary. The remaining balance for your pets holiday is still required if you decide to reduce the number of days booked during school holiday periods. These are our busiest times and we can't re-fill places where we have referred previous enquirers on to other boarders that we know.
Cancellations
We appreciate as much notice as possible, by email or Phone, if you need to cancel your booking. Please note that deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable for future dates.
A cancellation or a ‘no-show’ on the expected date of arrival, may result in you being invoiced for any remaining balance for that booking.
Pet Carriers
Please bring your rabbits in a fully operational plastic NOT material pet carrier intended for transporting animals. please ensure your carrier has a non slip bottom eg Paper and Hay or vet bed. This is to avoid your pet sliding around getting stress or causing a accidental injury.
Checking-In and Checking-Out times
Our opening hours are on our website and are by an agreed appointment time only.
If you are running late you must phone us to let us know asap - as we fit these appointments around other commitments. Sometimes an alternative appointment may have to be arranged.
Bank Holidays
We are closed for drop off and collections on bank holidays.
If your holiday starts or ends on a bank holiday your more then welcome to book a day before or after the bank holiday (If we have space).
Extra Days
If your journey is delayed and you need an extra night/s we will do all we can to accommodate your pets. Any extra days are charged at the normal daily rate.
We do not refund for 'unused' days if you collect your pet early.
Please don't assume that you can add additional days before/after the quoted dates without checking we have availability first.
Please always make sure you have a UK Emergency contact in case of unexpected delays. Incase we have no space to accommodate your pet the extra day.
Sickness
If your pet becomes ill, we will take them to see our vet and proceed in their best interest.
Any costs will be payable by you when you return.
We charge £10 for attending each vet appointment and .45p per mile if we use an Out-of-Hours Vets. Please be aware the O-O-H Vets charge upwards of £100 for the initial consultation.
Pets that fall sick who require round the clock syringe feeding may need to be admitted to the veterinary surgery where they can receive 24 hour nursing care. Rabbits who start to show symptoms of anything contagious will be quarantined at the vets whilst receiving care.
We do not refund for any remaining boarding fees and you will still be liable for any veterinary fees incurred including cremation.
If your rabbit has been sick and seen a vet within 7 days of their boarding date, we need assurance from your vet that they are fit to board with us.
Sadly, small animals can pass away very quickly even after receiving medical treatment. Should this happen, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes. Hug A Bunny Hotel accept no liability in the unlikely event that this may happen.
Fighting
We will contact you immediately if your bonded rabbits or Guinea pigs start fighting. They will be separated at once and be boarded separately for the remainder of their stay. Our single daily rate applies for the use of an additional suite.
Abandoned Pets
If you don't collect your pets within 7 days of the agreed collection date (and you have made no contact with us to explain your circumstances) we reserve the right to surrender them to a rehoming service.
Refusal
We have the right to refuse boarding and your deposit is non-refundable if:
You can't provide proof of vaccinations or first time/overdue vaccinations were given less that 10 days before your pets arrival date
Pets are showing signs of Snuffles, mite/lice infestation, illness, injury, are on a course of antibiotics for something that could be contagious or arrive with a dirty, wet or matted bottom
You don't agree with our Terms and Conditions or our Data Protection Policy.

To board your pets with us you must agree to our Terms and Conditions and our Data Protection Policy. These are available to view BEFORE making a booking. Unfortunately, we can't take a booking or board your pet if you don't agree, as we need this data for some of our legal records.
You enter into a Boarding Contract once you have paid your deposit.
By paying your deposit and making a booking using our online form, you confirm that you agree to our terms and conditions for this and any repeat bookings at Hug A Bunny Hotel.
Pet owners must accept that accident, injury (including hay poke), illness, mite infestation (as hay & straw are natural products). Whilst boarding at Hug A Bunny Hotel are their responsibility and that Hug A Bunny Hotel are released of any and all such liabilities. It is the pet owners responsibility to keep themselves updated of our terms and conditions before making a booking.
